January 2027 calendar
A single-month calendar for January 2027, drawn to the real measurements of US Letter or A4 so the printed page matches the drawing, with New Year's Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day marked in their cells. The month opens on a Friday and runs 31 days, with room on one sheet to write down the year's first plans.
Holidays in January 2027
January 2027 has two federal holidays, both on weekdays, so neither picks up a separate observed date this month. The list below is computed from the federal rules: fixed dates stay put, and floating holidays are found by counting weekdays. Each entry shows the day of the week it falls on in 2027. Anything your school or employer adds is yours to pencil in.
- Fri, January 1: New Year's Day federal holiday
- Mon, January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day federal holiday
How this January 2027 page works
January 1, 2027 falls on a Friday. The sheet gives each of the month's 31 days a writable cell, with federal holidays already marked. Choose Letter or A4 to match the paper in your printer.
The sheet is an SVG drawn in real-world units: every line on it has a millimeter position, and the print stylesheet gives your print dialog the exact dimensions of the paper you selected, Letter or A4, so nothing is squeezed to fit on the way out. No pre-made PDF sits behind this page. Your browser renders the drawing, and if you choose Save as PDF, the browser itself writes the file. The dates are computed: the script works out that January 2027 begins on a Friday and holds 31 days, then fills six Sunday-start rows cell by cell. Each holiday mark comes from its federal definition and lands on the day that rule produces.
The sheet has no week numbers and no moon phases, and it draws no non-federal observances into the cells. When a month has observances they appear in the list further down the page; for January 2027 that list holds just the two federal days. Two options change the sheet itself. The coloring layout moves the grid into the lower part of the page and frames a blank panel above it, so a child can draw the month while the dates stay usable. Starting the week on Monday fits January into five rows, one fewer than the Sunday-start grid. Whichever you choose, keep the print scale at 100% ("Actual size"); a fit-to-page option shrinks the grid and its measurements with it.
