Printable calendar for any month or year: a blank monthly calendar

Pick a month, or put all twelve on one sheet, and print it at the exact size of the paper in your tray. The dates are computed from the calendar itself, so leap years and week rows come out right. The sheet is drawn as vector geometry in your browser, with no watermarks or sign-ups, and nothing is uploaded. Print it on paper or save it as a PDF from the same dialog.

How this generator works

Every date on the sheet is computed when you choose the month. Two facts describe any month: the weekday it opens on and how many days it holds. The browser's own calendar supplies both, which is why February 2028 gets 29 days without a leap-year rule written anywhere in this page. From those two numbers the generator moves the 1st into the right column for your week-start setting, then counts the rows needed: five for a typical month, six when the offset pushes the last days onto an extra line, and four in the rare case of a 28-day February that opens exactly on your start day. The readout shows that row count, so you can see the layout before you spend paper, and in full-year mode it adds up the rows of all twelve months. It also names the sheet (Letter 8.5×11 in or A4 210×297 mm) and the week start you chose.

The sheet is an SVG drawn in physical units: every rule and every numeral sits at a real millimeter coordinate. The page tells the print dialog to use a page exactly the size of the paper you picked (215.9 × 279.4 mm for Letter, 210 × 297 mm for A4) with a zero page margin, because your margin is already part of the drawing: 12.7 mm by default, adjustable from 5 to 25 mm. Your browser is the PDF generator, so there is no fixed-size file to be rescaled. Leave the dialog's scale at 100% or "Actual size" (check it once and it stays checked) and the printed grid measures what the readout says; the methodology page shows how to check it with a ruler.

Full-year mode drops the cell borders and shrinks the numerals so all twelve months fit legibly on one sheet, three across and four down on a portrait sheet or four across and three down on a landscape sheet. Pin it up as a reference, and print a single month when you need room to write. The "Coloring top" layout moves the grid to the lower part of the sheet and leaves a framed blank panel above it: drawing space for a child, with the working calendar underneath. The day cells on this generator stay blank, with no holidays, moon phases or week numbers, because those vary by country and convention. The month pages linked below carry US federal holidays, computed from the federal rules.

Frequently asked questions

Will the printed calendar be the exact sheet size?
Yes, as long as the print dialog's scale is 100% (sometimes labeled "Actual size"). "Fit to page" shrinks the sheet to clear the printer's margins. The page sets the print size to your chosen sheet in true millimeters and keeps the grid inside your margin, so nothing needs rescaling, and a ruler laid across the first printout confirms the width.
Which years can this generate, and can it print all twelve months on one sheet?
Any year from 1900 to 2200, and yes: set Month to "Full year (12 months)" and all twelve month grids print together on a single sheet. The dates come from the browser's own calendar arithmetic, so leap years come out right with no special handling, including 2100, which is divisible by four but is not a leap year. That arithmetic uses the proleptic Gregorian calendar, so a sheet for a year before a country adopted the Gregorian calendar will not match the Julian dates people used there at the time.
Does it mark holidays?
No. Every day cell on this blank monthly calendar prints empty, so you can write in the dates that apply to you. Holiday sets differ by country, state, school district and employer, and many of them float (they land on the nth weekday of a month), so a built-in list would be wrong for most of the people printing the sheet. For US federal holidays already in the cells, the printable calendar with holidays generates any month or year with them marked, including the observed date when a holiday falls on a weekend. Each month from December 2026 through December 2028 also has its own printable page.
Should the week start on Sunday or Monday?
Sunday is the conventional first column on US wall calendars and the default here. Monday is the ISO 8601 standard and the norm across most of Europe, and it keeps Saturday and Sunday together at the end of the row, which reads better when you are planning work weeks. Switching it reorders the columns and the header labels, and it can change how many week rows a month needs.
Is anything uploaded or stored?
No. The sheet is generated as vector geometry inside this page, printed through your browser's own dialog, and exists only on your device. There is no account, no watermark and no stored setting: close the tab and the sheet is gone.
