May 2027 calendar
May 2027 opens on a Saturday, closes on Memorial Day, and its 31 days need six week rows, which makes it an unusually tall month. This page prints it at the exact size of your paper, Letter or A4, with the federal holiday already marked and every date worked out by calendar arithmetic.
Holidays in May 2027
A single federal holiday lands in May 2027, and it takes the month's final dated cell. The list beneath the sheet is computed from the federal definitions, the same rules the sheet uses to place its mark, so the list and the grid cannot disagree. The familiar May observances are included for reference; they appear in this list and are left unmarked inside the cells.
- Wed, May 5: Cinco de Mayo observance
- Sun, May 9: Mother's Day observance
- Mon, May 31: Memorial Day federal holiday
How this May 2027 page works
May starts on a Saturday and ends on a Monday. Its 31 days require six rows in either week-start layout. This gives each row less height than in a five-row month, so use the standard layout if you need more writing space than coloring top provides. The Week rows readout above the sheet reads 6 rows with either week start, and Memorial Day's name prints just below the 31 in the month's last dated cell.
The sheet is an SVG drawn in millimeters: the layout's 12.7 mm margin is written into the geometry as 12.7 mm, with no pixel rounding. A print stylesheet declares the physical page to the dialog (215.9 × 279.4 mm for Letter, 210 × 297 mm for A4), so the browser lays the drawing onto paper whose size it already knows, and because the browser itself is the PDF engine, Print / Save as PDF produces the file on your device. The dates are computed too: May's Saturday opening, Monday close and six-row span all come from date arithmetic, and Memorial Day lands where the federal last-Monday-of-May rule puts it.
There are no week numbers and no lunar phases. Observances without federal standing, Mother's Day and Cinco de Mayo among them, stay in the list below and out of the grid squares, where an unofficial mark could pass for an official one. Two options change the sheet. The Monday-start layout rebuilds the grid with the weekend paired at the far edge; May still needs its six rows either way. The coloring-top layout draws the same grid shorter, low on the page, and frames a blank panel above it for a child's artwork. Leave the dialog's scale at 100%, or "Actual size"; a fit-to-page setting prints the month smaller than true.
