November 2027 calendar
November 2027 has more dated events in its 30 days than any other month of the year: an election, a clock change and two federal holidays, Thanksgiving among them. This page prints the month as one sheet, Letter or A4, with both holidays marked in their cells and every measurement drawn to the size of the physical paper.
Holidays in November 2027
The list below is computed from the federal holiday rules for 2027. November's two federal holidays both land on Thursdays, so neither needs an observed date, and the day printed is the holiday itself. The two remaining entries, an election and a clock change, are dated calendar events; they appear here and stay out of the grid cells.
- Tue, November 2: Election Day (US) observance
- Sun, November 7: Daylight Saving Time ends (clocks back) observance
- Thu, November 11: Veterans Day federal holiday
- Thu, November 25: Thanksgiving Day federal holiday
How this November 2027 page works
November's list includes Election Day on Tuesday the 2nd, the clock change the following Sunday, Veterans Day on Thursday the 11th and Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday. Only the two federal holidays are marked in the grid cells, each name printed under its day numeral, and the Holidays readout above the sheet shows 2 marked.
The sheet above is an SVG drawn in millimeter units, so a cell's width is a physical measurement. At print time the page gives the browser's dialog the exact dimensions of the paper you chose, 215.9 × 279.4 mm for Letter or 210 × 297 mm for A4, and the browser itself produces the PDF, with nothing to download first and no server involved. Every numeral's position comes from calendar math, which is how the sheet knows this November fills exactly five week rows and closes on Tuesday the 30th. The two holiday marks follow the federal definitions: Veterans Day is fixed to the 11th, and Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday.
The election and the clock change are listed below the sheet and their cells print clean, because they are not federal holidays and a mark on a printed grid should mean one thing. There are no week numbers and no moon phases either. Two options change the sheet. The week can be set to start on Monday, which suits this November: the 1st is a Monday, so the grid opens in its first cell. The coloring layout fits the same grid into the lower part of the page and leaves a framed panel above it for a child to draw in. Keep the print scale at 100%; "Fit to page" resizes the millimeters.
